Glug Forums re-activated!

So have we started to use the GLUG Forums? I registered an account and after taking about 24hrs to get fully activated, I can now post stuff on here. This looks kool, and seem to be a better way to share our ideas/thoughts.

Currently (at the time of typing) I am installing xUbuntu 9.04(Ubuntu with XFCE Desktop) after a HD failure and replacement. I will try to document that process on this forum.

I am thinking of a list of software to install after I have setup the basic/default install. Any suggestions??

Xubuntu 9.04

Apparently there was an error in the *.iso file that I downloaded. My fault or bad mirror perhaps. I have decided to go green, which base and have just completed a decent install of Debian Lenny.

I am still working out the fineprints and will update soon!
